In this session you will learn ways that you can embed honeycomb elements into your reading units such as standards guided learning, curiosity driven learning, learner agency and independence, learner voice and choice, and personal learning goals. We will walk you through the steps we take to plan our reading units in order to provide students with a personalized learning experience. Bring an upcoming reading unit plan, reading standards for that unit, and a mentor text you use throughout the unit.
