10th Annual National Convening on Personalized Learning

The team in the Norris School District begins each interaction with a trauma invested lens. We embrace the idea that each learner, adult, and youth are doing the best that they can in the conditions that have been established. In this session, you will hear a brief overview of the six practices that we have established to build learner agency and reduce or eliminate barriers that are getting in the way of each learner reaching his full potential, and then you will have an opportunity to dig deeper into each of our six practices with a Norris team member that leads the work in our district. Each of the six practices has a different focus and level of intensity so that no barrier remains unaddressed and learners are put into a position to co-design opportunities to support their personal needs and goals.
