Alex Bruzan is a former math teacher and current Deeper Learning Coach at Dottke High School in West Allis, WI. Dottke is in the process of re-inventing itself as a project based focused school using the deeper learning competencies and restorative practices as its framework. Through the design thinking process, specifically empathy interviewing, Dottke has tailored its educational programming to meet the needs of its diverse student body. When he isn’t working on building Dottke, Alex is renovating houses in Milwaukee’s 53206 zip code, on the near north side, where he lives with his wife and two kids
